Here's a traditional Ayahuasca recipe for one person.

Ingredients

  • 25 grams of dried Psychotria viridis leaves
  • 3 grams of Peganum harmala seeds
  • 1 lemon
  • Water

Preparation Method

1. Pulverize the leaves and the seeds. Press out the juice of the lemon. The lemon juice enhances the solubility of the active components.

2. Put all ingredients in a cooking pot with approximately 300 ml of water.

3. Heat it slowly until it starts boiling, keep it boiling for 3 minutes. After that, reduce the heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes.

4. Filter the herbs. Put the herbs back into the cooking pot again and keep the liquid in a can.

5. Add some water again and repeat steps 3 and 4 twice.

6. After you have cooked the herbs 3 times, throw them away. Put the liquid back into the cooking pot and keep the vaporizing water on low heat until you get about one glass.

7. Wait until the Ayahuasca is cold and drink it quickly.
