Fly Agaric, also known as Amanita muscaria can be found in different forms, such as fresh mushrooms, extracts, and dried mushrooms. The dried mushrooms can be eaten or smoked in blends, but the best way to prepare them is in hard liquor.

After grinding the dried mushrooms, pour them into the liquor, and let it soack for a week or more (the longer the better). Make sure you filter the mushrooms carefully before enjoying the taste and effects of your new liquor. If any mushroom pieces are left in the liquid, it might lead to bad taste.

If you decide to smoke the dried mushrooms instead, pure or as a blend, bare in mind that the effects are slightly less strong than soacked in liquor.

It is also common to just use the upper skin of the shroom (the red skin with white spots). The upper skin contains most of the active components, this way you get a stronger ingredient for your smoking blends.

Alternatively, a tea can be prepared with the mushrooms. Just put them in a pot of boiling water and let them soack for about 10-15 minutes.

DOSAGE

Amanita muscaria

Usually, 1 - 3 mushrooms are taken as a medium dosage. Of course, the size and amount of active components varies. Therefore it is better to start off with 1 mushroom and see which effects it produces.

If you use dried mushrooms or extracts, 5 grams of dried mushroom equal one medium mushroom. This means the standard amount of dried mushrooms is 5 - 15 grams.

If you use an extract like the 10x, the dosage may vary from 0,5 to 1,5 grams.

Beware: a dosage of 10 medium mushrooms or 50 grams dried or more, is potentially dangerous!

Psilocybe Cubensis - Colombiescens

Another variation of Psilocybe Cubensis, but much stronger than the regular Mexican. The effects are not so "alienating" and more consistent.

Dosage [dry weight]

mild trip: 0,5 - 1,0 grams
medium trip: 1,0 - 2,5 grams
strong trip: 2,5 - 5,0 grams
