The active ingredient in Feliz R is 6-APB (6-( 2-Aminopropyl)benzofuran) is a entactogen that belongs to the benzofuran class and it is similar in structure with well know substances like MDMA, MDA and 5-APB.

6-APB was first synthesised in the beginning of the 90 by David E. Nichols, a medicinal chemist and psychedelic researcher, at Purdue University. Dr. Nichols and his team were trying to find and alternative to MDMA as a useful adjunct in psychotherapy.

After that it entered the research chemical market and has been used for its recreational effects.

Effects

Chemically, 6-APB has a role as serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (SNDRI) and a additional action of releasing agent of these neurotransmitters. This action comes from the fact that 6-APB is a potent agonist of the serotonin receptors.

Serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine are global neurotransmitters that have a role in modulating the brain´s ability to feel pleasure, motivation, attention and focus . When 6- APB inhibits their reuptake and promotes their release, these neurotransmitters will accumulate in certain regions brain, making it possible to be reused, leading to euphoria, stimulation and disinhibition, among others effects.  Most users describe the effects of 6-APB similar to those of amphetamines and MDMA but, with relative calmness and less chaotic energy.

The first effects will be felt around 30 minutes after ingesting Feliz-R and the peak is normally reached within 1 hour after ingestion. The trip will last from 4 to 6 hours, depending on the taken dosage.

The following described effects are subjective and will rarely, if ever, occur at the same time, and its intensity os directly linked to dosage:

  • Stimulation;
  • Spontaneous physical sensations;
  • Tactile enhancement;
  • Bodily control enhancement;
  • Vibrating vision – from normal to high doses the eye balls start to spontaneously wiggle turning the vision temporary blurry and unfocused;
  • Visual effects like colour enhancement, pattern recognition, texture repetition are most likely to be felt when taking high doses and more towards the end of the trip;
  • Hallucinations have also been described, especially in the offset of the trip. External hallucinations are usually described  when taking high doses. Internal hallucinations are reported as spontaneous breakthroughs when taking really high doses.
  • Anxiety suppression;
  • Cognitive euphoria that is directly linked to the high levels of serotonin and dopamine in the brain and is directly linked to the dosage;
  • Disinhibition, empathy, feelings of love, openness and sociability enhancement – these feelings are described by the users has the most obvious and noticeable effect of 6-APB, dominating the head space;
  • Creativity enhancement;
  • Focus and motivation enhancement;
  • Increased music appreciation and sense of humour with laugher fits;
  • Thought acceleration;
  • Increased libido;
  • Auditory enhancements.

Side effects

Side effects are the secondary effects felt that are usually undesirable and are felt along side with the trip. These are directly linked to dosage and might include:

  • Increase in body temperature;
  • Increase heart rate and blood pressure;
  • Increase perspiration;
  • Dehydration and dry mouth – these feelings are very common when taking stimulants and 6-APB is no exception. So, drink some water without over doing it.
  • Difficulty in urinating – this side effects is usually felt at high doses and it is temporary an harmless.
  •  Appetite suppression;
  • Pupil dilatation;
  • Teeth grinding – usually felt at moderate to high doses and very common when taking stimulants;
  • Compulsive redosing – like MDMA and other stimulants, 6-APB might encourage redosing due to its euphoria-inducing effects. Since 6-APB is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor and releasing agent all at the same time, a over exceeding might lead to serotonin syndrome so, always respect the dosage and avoid redosing.
  • Seizures – a very rare side effect but there is possibility of happening to those that are prone to it (as with other stimulants), especially when taking really high doses or continually keep on redosing;
  • Wakefulness;

After effects

The following list of effects might occur  in the offset of trip, when the effects are starting to wear off. Usually described as “comedown”, these effects are usually negative when compared to the ones felt during the trip and are due to the neurotransmitters depletion (they are all used and the levels are getting back to normal). This happens when taking any stimulant. The higher the dosage the higher the possibility of feeling stronger after effects.

  • Anxiety;
  • Appetite suppression;
  • Irritability;
  • Motivation suppression and depression;
  • Thought disorganisation and deceleration.

The after effects might be felt in the course of some day after taking 6-APB but, always decreasing in intensity.

Dosage

Feliz R comes in bottles of 10ml that will be enough for 2 light doses or 1 strong dose.

If you are new to stimulants and psychedelics, we strongly advise to start with a lower dose.

The tolerance to 6-APB builds quickly so, with prolonged and repeated use the positive effects will be lost. It takes around 6 to 8 weeks for the tolerance levels to be back to normal.

Regular use (daily or weekly use) is strongly not advise due to the mentioned tolerance created, to the possibility of having heart related issues (all stimulants have impact on the heart since their increase the heart beat and blood pressure) and possibility of psychological dependence.

Feliz R should not be combined with:

  • Other stimulants and amphetamines like MDMA, stimulants of the 25X family or cocaine because it can lead to dangerous levels of heart rate and blood pressure;
  • Alcohol-  stimulants mask out the sedative effects of drinking;
  • Antidepressants, MAO-I, SSRIs, 5-HTP,  serotonin-releasers (MDMA, 4-FA, methamphetamines), DMX - the combination of these with Feliz-R  with these substance might lead to serotonin syndrome.
